We have specific technical expertise in the following areas: Web-enabling FileMaker Pro We have developed complex FileMaker Pro solutions which are set up with FileMaker Pro office interface for our clients' internal use and a separate Web interface for their clients to access. A current example of this is an auction system for a UK-based auction house with web-enabled Live Bidding and submission of Tender Offers for their clients throughout the world. We have extensive and in-depth knowledge of Lasso Professional which we use to interface with FileMaker Pro. Typically systems are set up offsite in secure data centres with dedicated FileMaker and Lasso servers which clients access via Go-Global thin client or similar technologies. FileMaker Pro We have extensive experience of converting legacy systems to FileMaker Pro 7.x / 8.x, and are familiar with the many issues that surround this. We can also show you how to leverage the power on tap with more efficient, faster and reliable database structures. Development of shrink-wrapped FileMaker Pro solutions Previous projects include development of a school banking system for Barclays Bank, used in over 1,000 schools throughout the UK, and development of a software product - The Family Organiser - for home users available in UK retail outlets. Localisation of FileMaker Pro solutions We are familiar with setting up systems offering specific features available to users in different countries, including interface options, language settings, time and date issues and address formatting features. Japanese FileMaker Pro We are expert in FileMaker Pro-J, having worked extensively with clients in Japan. We develop and maintain complex solutions in FileMaker Pro-J, and are familiar with issues such as double-byte data, field indexing, date issues and installations on Japanese OS.  |
