| About Us Carbon Data Solutions focuses on FileMaker client/server database development. We specialise in business systems with complex, process driven requirements. Our systems have already increased productivity, efficiency and accountability for over 200 clients since 1995. We started in Melbourne, Australia, and have recently opened a new office here in Fleet near Guildford. The owners of Carbon Data Solutions, both here in the UK and in Australia, have worked for international companies such as Accenture, Digital Equipment Corporation and Euroclear (part of the London Stock Exchange), as well as owning businesses ourselves. Richard Porter started in computing in 1985, and has an MSc in Information Technology. Our database systems can include the following: o contacts and customer relationship management o automated generation of quotes and estimates o job tracking for project or production management o invoicing which can be linked to your accounting software Services We Offer Development Working with you, we can custom build a database system to manage and organise information, improve accuracy, productivity and accountability. Development is done in partnership with you, so that your business procedures and processes are built into the system. Project Management If you have a FileMaker project that you would like to develop further, or perhaps has stalled, we can take over and ensure it's a success. Ongoing Support Businesses constantly have to adjust their focus to maximise return. A business database system should be adjusted as well to meet changing needs as they arise. We can work with you, on a regular basis if you wish, to ensure your system is always right up to date. Migration Do you need to migrate to FileMaker 8? We can manage this process, so while you use your existing version, we will upgrade and when the new version is ready, pass your data to the new system and you can switch across to it. Turn Key Solutions Carbon Data Solutions offers several ready-to-use products. These can be inserted into your existing FileMaker system, or in the case of QuoteMaker products, can be a turn-key solution. Filemaker 2 MYOB enables invoice data to be passed into MYOB accounting software. We also have a Sage version. Print QuoteMaker is a framework solution for creating quotations for the printing industry. Product CD lets you create CD's of high-resolution graphics or video presentations, send them to your customers, so they can search and order from the CD. Calendar Toolkit add the ability to display data from any FileMaker table, such as quotes, jobs or invoices, in Day, Week or Month views.
